While you can already purchase the first book in our new series, “Fahrzeuge der Bundeswehr seit 2005” (Vehicles of the German Armed Forces since 2005), about main battle tanks and armored fighting infantry vehicles in our web shop, we are already working hard on the layout of the next two books about the Bundeswehr “Wolves”!

Due to the enormous complexity of this family of Bundeswehr vehicles, there is still no comprehensive publication on this topic.

It was only thanks to the outstanding support of Mr. Heinrich Wangler, an absolute authority on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class who has been familiar with this vehicle since 1977, as well as experts from the Bundeswehr in the fields of testing, procurement, and use of the vehicles, that we were able to tackle this topic at all.

For the first time, in addition to the well-known LKW gl leicht, kurz 250 GD, we will also present Wolves with modular protection equipment (Modulare Schutzausstattung – MSA), modular splinter protection (Modularer Splitterschutz MSS), and special protection equipment (Sonderschutzausstattung – SSA) in detail. In addition, the Special Forces Command (Kommando Spezialkräfte) in Calw has also given us the exclusive opportunity to photograph their special versions of the Wolve for the first time!
