Detektorfahrzeug RC System
During operations, the remote-controlled Detection Vehicle is operated and controlled by two soldiers sitting in the Transportpanzer 1A8A12 Fuchs Operator Team Vehicle. The Detection Vehicle consists of a carrier vehicleas as well as the mounted detection kit. The folding-down detection component mounted at the vehicle`s rear is used by EOD teams to scan roads, pathways or sealed surfaces for buried explosive ordnance. Suspicious areas can be color-marked by the operator. A total of seven Detection Vehicles have been procured so far.
