By integrating the command and control system FüInfoSysH (Führungs- und Informationssystem des Heeres) into the Wiesel 1A1 TOW Armored Weapon Carrier the designation changed to Wiesel 1A2 TOW. The armament consists of the TOW Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) and the 7.62mm x 51 MG3 machine gun.
