Basically the M1128 Stryker Mobile Gun System (MGS) is built on a derivative chassis of the M1126 Stryker Infantry Carrier Vehicle (ICV). Even though the MGS hull differs in many details from that one of the ICV, the vehicles share almost 70% commonality in parts.
