Currently the Bundeswehr fields 34 Transportpanzer 1A8A8 Fuchs Standard mit SEM 80/90, mit Zusatzpanzerung, IED-/Minenschutz, Raumkühlanlage, Schutzausstattung CG-12 und Einbausatz Kampfmittelräumtrupp (KpfmRTrp) EOD/IEDD Team Vehicles. Besides other equipment, a PackBot 510 Manipulatorfahrzeug explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) robot is carried aboard.The vehicle features the Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence System Führungs- und Informationssystem des Heeres (FüInfoSysH), a SEM 90/93/52 VHF Radio System, an INMARSAT BGAN Explorer 727 Satcom System, a Tetrapol Radio System and an Explosion Resistant GPS Receiver (ERGR).
