Recently Tank-Masters.de visited 3rd Company, 122nd Armored Infantry Battalion from Oberviechtach at the Grafenwöhr Training Area to take photos of the Puma AIFV and Infantry Dismounts with Infantry Soldier of the Future – Enhanced System.

Today Tank-Masters.de visited the Driver Training Center in Hammelburg to take photos of the Marder 1A3 Driver Training Vehicle for a new book project about the German Marder 1 Family of Vehicles.

Yesterday Tank-Masters.de visited 414th Armour Battalion during their live firing exercise with the new Leopard 2A6MA2 MBT at the Bergen Training Area.

Currently Tank-Masters.de visits the certification exercise Heidesturm 2018 of the Spearhead Battalion of the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (Land) 2019 at the German Army Combat Training Center in Letzlingen.

Tank-Masters.de would like to thank the Troopers of the Kommando Spezialkräfte and the H145M LUH SOF helicopter crews of Hubschraubergeschwader 64 for their outstanding performance during the public capability demonstration as part of the Tag der Bundeswehr 2018 (Day of the Bundeswehr) in Dresden as well as for their great support and trust.

Today Tank-Masters.de visited the rehearsal of the German Army Special Forces of the Kommando Spezialkräfte at Dresden for their public capability demonstration as part of the Tag der Bundeswehr (Day of the Bundeswehr) tomorrow.

Currently Tank-Masters.de visits the Strong Europe Tank Challenge (SETC) 2018 at the 7th Army Training Command Grafenwöhr Training Area.

On 18 May 2018 Tank-Masters.de had the very unique opportunity to photograph one of the last operational Bundeswehr Leopard 2A4 at the German Army Technical Center WTD 41 for Land-Based Vehicle Systems, Engineer and General Field Equipment in Trier. The photos will be used for a book about the Leopard 2A4 which will be published by Tankograd Publishing (www.tankograd.com) in the very same style like the Leopard 2A6 books No. 5070 and No. 5071.

Currently Tank-Masters.de visits the Certification Training Exercise of the 4th Rotation of the Enhanced Forward Battle Group Lithuania consisting of units of the German 37th Armoured Mechanized Brigade „Freistaat Sachsen“, the Czech 41. Mechanizovaný Prapor and the Dutch 43 Gemechaniseerde Brigade at the German Army Combat Training Center in Letzlingen.

On 27 April 2018 Tank-Masters.de was invited to the change of command ceremony of 1st Armor Division in Oldenburg during which our long-time friend Major General Markus Laubenthal handed over the command of the division to Brigadier General Jürgen-Joachim von Sandrart. The hand over of the guidon was conducted by the Commander Field Army and Vice Chief German Army, Lieutenant General Carsten Jacobson, who has been supporting our various projects since many years.
